A favour (and a hello from a volunteer!)
This update comes from Julianna—I’m a longtime friend of the QSCM Chair and volunteer with QSCM since 2021.

In the past year, I’ve taken a more active role with QSCM, including helping with moving our website to a more modern platform and reducing our annual spend on technology by a whopping 86% so we can better allocate your donations towards funding professional performances of chamber music right here in your community.
One of the things we dearly need help with right now is what I’ll call our “marketing” efforts—this ranges from designing the concert notes that we hand out at live events, to managing our website and social media, and (of course!) keeping all of you updated through this newsletter.
We have drafted a “job description” of sorts for a Volunteer Marketing Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with marketing experience to help us out, a recent graduate looking for experience for their resume, or anyone looking to make a career change.
If you know of anyone who might be interested (or if you’re interested yourself!), please share the details with them and encourage them to reach out.
Having worked with the QSCM board and team of volunteers for a few years now, I can attest to how fun and fulfilling the experience has been. So much so that I continued to help out despite living in Vancouver, Spain, and now Ireland!
QSCM is doing some amazing things with bringing chamber music to rural Ontario. And like most non-profits, we’re powered by passion and generosity.
I hope to see our impact inspire generations of individuals who can access the beauty of chamber music (even if it’s from afar!).
Cheers
